The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Karachi successfully participated at the from 13th to 15th May, 2022 at the Karachi Expo Center, Pakistan with the budgetary allocation provided by the Department of Commerce, Sri Lanka.
The Consulate General has been consecutively participating at this exhibition since 2014.
On the invitation of the Consulate General, Sri Lankan company M/s. Tea Talk Pvt Ltd (exporter of spices and tea), the Pakistan importer of M/s. Orange Electric and Sri Lankan Airlines shared the Sri Lanka stall. The Sri Lanka booth displayed exportable products and visitors to the Sri Lanka booth were also served with Ceylon Tea.
As per the organizers, 700,000 visited the exhibition during the three days. Sri Lanka booth also attracted a large number of businesses who showed a keen interest to obtain information related to trade, tourism and investment potentials.
