Vesak Celebration at the Sri Lanka Consulate General in Karachi – 15 May 2022

The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Karachi in association with the Sri Lankan Community in Karachi conducted a Vesak Day religious programme at the Consulate General on 15th May 2022 with the participation of Consul General Jagath Abeywarna, Staffs & families and Sri Lankan community in Karachi.

The Vesak Programme was presided by Venerable Katuwana Wigithawansa Thero from Sri Lankaramaya in Korea over virtual mode. The programme included Buddha Vandana, Dhamma Deshana, and serving Sri Lankan traditional foods.

The Consulate General was decorated with Vesak lanterns, Buddhist flags and lights.
