A networking dinner was held at the Sri Lanka Consulate General in Karachi with the participation of a Sri Lanka delegation including Secretary Defence Gen (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne; Lieutenant General H. L. V. M. Liyanage, Commander of the Sri Lanka Army; Sri Lanka Consul General in Karachi Jagath Abeywarna and Pakistan business personnel. The Sri Lanka delegation was in Karachi to attend the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) and the Third Round of the Pakistan-Sri Lanka Armed Forces Defence Dialogue (AFDD).
