The Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Karachi and the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (SLEDB) organized a webinar on 02nd November 2022 to promote ceramic and porcelain ware products in Pakistan.
Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi Jagath Abeywarna, Director of SLEDB Anoma Premathilaka, President of Pakistan Sri Lanka Business Forum Aslam Pakhali, representatives of Pakistan Hotels Association, importers of ceramic and porcelain ware in Pakistan and Sri Lankan exporters participated in the session.
Sri Lanka exported around US$ 27.3 Mn. worth of ceramic and porcelain in 2021 to the world including US$ 1.2Mn. to Pakistan.
The participants from Pakistan showed their interest and informed us that they will explore possibilities of importing them from Sri Lanka.
